Madagascar

This movie just leaves you feeling good and ends with you wanting to "move it, move it!" I love some of those lemurs.

Anyway, the story is about a Zebra who hears of "the wild" and resolves to go out into the world. Through a series of misfortunes, him and three of his Central Park Zoo pals (a lion, hippo, and giraffe) they find themselves on a tropical island. It's a story about friendship, but mostly it's just a bundle of laughs.

The movie has a number of great "bits" and while the story is nothing special, the situational comedy is brilliant. They also do a lot of wonderful job of making tributes to various pop culture movies and references.

The penguins, while not as cute and cuddly as other movies have made them out to be lately, still are brilliant and I love them to death. If you're looking for something light and and fun, definitely a movie to check out.
