Nowadays it really hoses me to lose my broadband. I do everything online now. But not having a vehicle is equally a pain in the ass, especially since it's just me here.

The best way to help is to donate cash through a reputable agency. That's the #1 need -- not goods or food. They have so many relief supplies piled up at the airport that they don't know what to do with them.

kevin bacon is DEFINITELY more of a risk!! i haven't had taco bell in forever..that is, until last month. i've been craving taco supremes like a crazy woman. hopefully their beef is better than their refried beans cuz lawd knows i've been ingesting it at least once or twice a week!! haha!

I won't even bother watching it. I lost any kind of respect for them when they bitched about how Timothy McVey didn't get a vegan meal as his last before he was executed.

Then there was their whining about the pets left at ground zero or something like that on 9/11. Fuckin' self righteous morons.

How well do you listen?

I mean, how well do you listen to the people who you don't know and have little impact upon your life.

For example, when the server is telling you the daily specials, could you repeat them back?

If it is relevant and not just fluff I listen. Sometimes it takes forever for the person to spit it out at which time they have lost me.

I actually do listen well in those situations. In situations where I have to process a lot of info, it's harder for me. I'm not a good auditory learner so I have to take notes.
