This is the second installment of Aurora Teagarden murder mysteries. I really liked this one too. Easy to read, simple to follow and entertaining.
In this book, Roe finds herself an inheritor of a house and an amazing sum of money, from one of her former fellow Real Murders club member. She is not sure why the woman left her everything, but when she discovers a skull buried in a window seat in the inherited house, she realizes that her dead acquaintance left her all of this, so that she could solve this mystery. After she finds a note from the dead club member, in a book , Roe realizes she needs to begin researching what is going on in this neighborhood and if all the recent break-ins the area have anything to do with the skull. As she tries to solve the mystery she is also wondering what to do about the house that was left to her. After her ex boyfriend moves in across the street with his pregnant wife, the decision is made for her. Her new beau in this book is the pastor from the local Episcopalian church. As she wrestles with the idea of being a preachers girlfriend, and suspects continue to pile up, Roe wonders if she might be next.
