Charlaine Harris (author) has done it again! A great book, but an unexpected and a sad ending.
In this the 6th installment of the Aurora Teagarden series, Roe finds herself thrown in to motherhood with a newborn, and it’s not even hers! Her husband Martin’s niece, Regina, shows up unexpectedly one day, with a new baby, although no one even knew she was pregnant. Roe and Marin invite her to stay, but are unable to spend the evening with her and the baby, due to prior commitments. When they return from dinner, they find Craig, Regina’s husband, murdered, no sign of Regina, and little Hayden under the bed. And in their living room, they discover a young man named Rory, who is oddly interested in the baby. With another murder to solve, Roe and Martin return to the town where Martin grew up, and back to the farm where he was raised. As Roe bumbles through motherhood as she cares for the baby, she realizes that they must get to the bottom of this mystery before her or her husband wind up dead.
