This is the fifth book of Aurora Teagarden mysteries. This is the first book I read in the series, I liked it a lot. Her books are not so in detail, that you can’t read them out of series. Another reason I like this series.
Roe (Aurora Teagarden) part time librarian, is in her yard with her bodyguard Angel, watching her mow the lawn, when a body falls from the sky, and lands in Roe’s yard. This time Roe gets to save her bodyguard by pushing her out of the way of the falling body. The dead guy winds up being the head detective of the local police department, Detective Sergeant Jack Burns. Ironically a man that Roe has never gotten a long with. They look up in time to see a small plane circling. As Roe tries to find out who murdered Jack and why he was deposited in her yard, she begins to wonder if his death has anything to do with her husbands’ shady past. As the bodies start to pile up and the FBI are called in, Roe knows she has to figure out this mystery, before she winds up in a body bag.
Another great one to add to the series. You can buy it on Amazon for $7.99.
