A very intense movie, a bit of a thriller a bit of a who dunnit mystery.
This movie follows Father Flynn (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Sister Aloysius (Meryl Streep), as they battle over what they feel is right and wrong in their parish and their catholic school, in the 1960's. As the young (Flynn) and old (Sister Aloysius) battle against the old ways, and the upcoming new ways, Sister Aloysius is convinced that Father Flynn has been having to much contact with one of the young black male students, Donald, at their school. Flynn argues that since Donald is the first black student accepted at their school, he is only trying to help him through, but the Sister is sure that there is more to it, and aims to end Flynn's career at their parish.
A movie full of wonderful actors, and convincing acting, this is a must see.
