I love this movie, absolutely love it! It's a buddy movie, a father-son movie, a comedy, a tragedy, an adventure, a coming-of-age movie, and all with extraordinary CGI! I just watched this the other night, and could watch it again and again and again. I laugh, I cry ... "Finding Nemo" has everything you could ever need in a movie. Those of us who've had to overcome over-protectiveness and let our children go off to become their own people ... well, we all understand, don't we??? Ellen DeGeneres is SO funny as Dory -- she cracks me up, and it's too bad there aren't Oscars for voice work in animated films. (I'd have given one to Jeremy Irons for his work as Scar in "The Lion King," too.) The characters are all so well defined, and the artwork is just amazing. This is truly a classic among classics, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Finding Nemo is probably one of my all-time favorite movies. And I don't say that lightly, as I have a tendency to go towards the classic B&W 1940s Old Hollywood ones.
This movie is just spectacular. The animation is tremendous, what with the detail that the animators used to show the water movie and subtle movements of the fins on the fish.
The storyline is adorable, and Ellen DeGeneres is at her comedic best voicing Dory, the fish with no short-term memory.
This is the kind of movie that makes me laugh out loud about every 5 minutes, and that's the best compliment I can think of.

PIXAR always does a great job with it's movies. 'Finding Nemo' has to have been one of the most beautiful! The ocean looks so real it just amazes me to think that not a single frame of film in this exists in real life. Anyway, PIXAR continued its streak of winners in this movie.

Although I found the angle of a parent being killed off early in the movie to be a bit repetitious given Disney's other movies where there are 'parental issues' (Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderalla, blah blah blah).

Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres were spot on as Marlin and his new found friend Dory. Their search for Marlin's son Nemo had them encountering some very interesting and amusing characters. The interaction and story were extremely well written and really drew you into a world where fish talk and seagulls say "MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!"

This is by far the most visually appealing Pixar film yet. The imagery is truly a feast for the eyes with a gorgeous display of colors and play of light. The beginning is terrible and gripping when Marlin and Coral are attacked by a huge monstrous fish. This is the premise of the sacrifices parents make because of their love for their children and ultimately Marlin's voyage across the dangers of the ocean in search of his son Nemo. I really like how it was also about overcoming physical inhibitions and parental coddling. The movie had tons of comedy too. Just about every character had a well-rounded comedic personality.

Whenever we watch it I always fast forward until the part where Nemo is jumping on Marlin because the introduction is so sad for me and scary for my toddler. This movie was a no-brainer to add into our collection of DVDs and family favorites.

This movie is adorable. I liked showing it when I ran group therapy sessions with my teenagers that I counseled. It was entertaining enough for them to pay attention, family friendly and appropriate, and has a good message. When I asked the kids what they thought the message of the movie was, they said things like, "You can always go home to the ones who love you...your real family and friends will do whatever it takes to save you...you can learn a lot when you are on you're own...don't run away from home." Aside from the seriousness of it, it's just purely entertaining for everyone. I especially love Dory, the blue fish with the short term memory. I'm biased though because I just like Ellen DeGeneres!

This was such a beautiful movie! Not only was the movie itself visually breathtaking and even realistic at times (sometimes even BETTER in my opinion) but the storyline is enough to touch anybody's heart! Finding Nemo follows the classic storyline of a weakling defying a self-fulfilling prophecy of failure and showing everyone that he/she can succeed! If that isn't enough to touch your heart, I don't know what is!

This is a great movie for the entire family. The teacher in me could even see this movie used for a lesson on individual acceptance and sensitivity to others. haha. Most of us probably wouldn't look into this movie THAT deeply, but nevertheless everyone will enjoy this feel good movie.

"Ooo! Nemo touched the butt!"

A classic movie, and I love every minute of it. The animation is amazing: vivid colors, great details, very realistic action. The characters are all lovable and easy to relate to, and Dory (Ellen Degeneres) is just hilarious!

Everyone quotes the movie all the time, so it really is a must-see. People of all ages like it. It's sad, funny, exciting, touching, and really uplifting. Even though it's made for kids, I just feel so good every time I watch it! It never gets tiring. Every scene is memorable, and every line is really well-written and smart. A really good movie, all around.

While I have never really been into animated flicks, this is definitely a cute one for the entire family to enjoy. Pixar does a great job creating life-like characters for the screen with its amazing attention to detail and computer artistry. Celebrity voices add another layer of greatness to the mix and spice up this cute tale about a little fish looking for his dad. This is definitely one of those movies that you won't find boring when you watch it with your kids and your kids will have a great time watching it. Definitely recommended for the whole family!

This was the cutest movie. It had so many good messages to it. I loved this movie. The characters in it were brilliant. I am really digging all the nature films that are put out for kids these days.

This one had a really good message about friendship, family, and autonomy. Finding Nemo is really about finding yourself. It also gives a good look at the way humans live their life. The universal message teaching people not to stereotype or judge is one of the main underlying themes.

The animation in this film is also brilliant! I love the scene with the sea turtles catching the current. Fabulous!

Finding Nemo started the long line of memorable computer animated movies for me. The animation borders on genius from start to finish. On top of that, the story and characters are rich and compelling and the humor is great for kids and adults. As with most kid friendly movies this tries to teach us some valuable life lessons, while at the same time keeping our eyes glued to the screen through brilliant colors and unbelievable effects. My five year old son really loved this and it’s given him a somewhat “real” idea of what it would be like to live underwater. He claims he’s going to be a marine biologist, although before that it was a race car driver and soon after a pilot! :)

This is SUCH a good, sweet movie. Ellen DeGeneres does a great job of the voice of Dorie, she really pulls out a lot of the amusing parts of the movie, as well as full of some of the most effective life-guiding catch-phrases, like "Just keep swimming."

One of the things I like most about the movie is that it isn't just about the lost child learning to trust in himself and befriend others, it also pulls in the story of the dad whose love for his child forces *him* to trust in himself and, most importantly, others, and grow beyond his own boundaries.

The animation is also beautifully done, and the supporting characters are very unique and well fleshed out.

I only saw this movie because I wanted to find a family film to watch with my son. I can honestly say I’m not sure which of us liked it better. As a screenplay writer, I am particularly critical of storyline plausibility, scene development and dialogue. And although this is a fantasy for children, I found the storyline both delightful and believable within the realm of the fantasy that undersea life communicates in English and suffers from human conditions such as short term memory loss. The scene development flowed smoothly and the dialogue was crisp, funny and carried the plot flawlessly. This truly is a fabulous movie for adults and children alike!

My daughter loves this film, the animation is amazing and fun. Full of colors that pop and keep a young one's attention. My daughter loves the tiny turtles and I confess they are my favorites too! I think this movie so cute and the characters are strong and keep your attention.
I will agree that the whole mother dying part was a little much for a 3 year old to handle, my baby got very sad and asked what happened to the mommy fish. But on the other hand death is a way of life. I love Ellen Degeneres and I even catch my fiancee watching this film on his own when there are no kids present.

Although I have a bit of a problem with the whole Disney mom-is-dead-and-gone-child-left-to-fend-for-self thing, I have to say that I do appreciate a lot about Nemo. One: it's just a pretty movie. The colors are beautiful. Two: it's about a little fish with a little disability who ends up being a hero. Three: the crabs and the sea gulls are hilarious. Not to mention Ellen Degeneres as Dorie; she did a great job.

This is one of those movies that my kids never tire of, and I can actually stomach watching time and time again. I would just like to see more Disney movies where the mom is not dead or evil. Spoken like a true mom, huh?

Finding Nemo is one of my favorite Disney Pixar collaborations. Nemo is a clown fish whose mother and siblings are killed before he is born. His father is left to raise him and his father is a very cautious clown fish who isn't very funny, much to the dismay of his friends. When Nemo insists that he start school, Marlin is not very enthusiastic but allows it. During a school field trip, Marlin and Nemo disagree as to whether Nemo's special fin will allow him to swim well enough and to prove a point, Nemo swims into the open ocean and is picked up by a fish collector who later turns out to be a dentist. Marlin sets out into the open sea to rescue his son and meets Dory an amnesiac fish. The film is really cute and it is appropriate for all audiences, it even has some jokes the adults will find amusing. All in all this is one film I would most definitely recommend to anyone.

There literally is nothing wrong with this movie. Disney and Pixar really did a great job both plot and animation wise. The story is about a little clown fish that winds up being separated from his father and placed in an aquarium where he eventually escapes back into the ocean. Meanwhile, his overprotective father pretty much searchs every crevice of the ocean in search of his little boy, including a very interesting meeting with some turtles with surfer attitudes. Of course Disney is good with providing a movie that is cute and compelling to kids but fun and full of little jokes for the adults to enjoy. All in all, a must have.

A great movie by Disney and it is great for the whole family. Hell, this was one of my favorite movies in high school I got attached to it by one of my friends of coarse, thanks Lilly. Anyway, I would watch this movie all the time at my friends house and fell in love with it. I have a huge collection of Disney movies on DVD and I love finding nemo. The characters are so cute in this movie, and each have the funniest qualities in them. Two thumbs up for Finding Nemo, this movie was so much fun.

This is such a cute movie. I highly recommend this for any family to watch or even just to watch amongst friends. Go ahead and take a venture as Nemo tries to find his way home after being separated by his father accidentally. This is a great feel-good movie with a great message. Also, this movie provides a whole new way to look at marine life. I really enjoyed the personification of all the sea creatures. I really enjoyed this movie and I have no doubt that you will as well. Plenty of memorable scenes. Go ahead and give this one a shot.

Finding Nemo is another great development of the Pixar movies that are out there. I think Pixar studios never disappoint no one because all of there movies that they create are great. The reason that I enjoyed this movie is that it looks so realistic, and very funny as well. I also enjoyed this movie because every part of this movie is very funny and also very exciting. I really enjoyed the part when they went to find Nemo because it really was a great part. There was nothing at all wrong with this movie it is a great production. Overall I recommend this movie to everyone out there.
