Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - 2 Pack

I love the magic erasers! What can't these things get off? I use them at home and at work. Just don't get too carried away beause it will even take some paint off!

6 out of 5 stars!!!! OMG! This works on soap scum better that ANY, ANY, ANY cleaning spray or scrubber I have ever used. Also works on those black scuff marks on the floor and on wall. It's miraculous on walls. Just don't get carried away or you'll clean the paint right off.

This is THE best new cleaning product since borax, baking soda, or vinegar!

Soooo... apparently this makes dog poo disappear...
I keep my dog, Rockstar, in the bathroom when I go to bed or leave the apartment and he has a bad habit of getting into my cabinet. I came home today and, of course, he got into the cabinet.
I smelled poo in the bathroom so I went to go get a baggie for it and came back and all that I could find was a few poo flakes with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (that Rockstar had pulled out of the cabinet) next to it with a few poo marks on it. So aparently, Rockstar had pulled out the Magic Eraser to clean up his poo - and somehow it made his whole poo pile disappear, and he even pulled out a whole toilet paper roll, I guess to wipe his heinie. Sooo, I guess what I'm saying is that this is really magic, because I still haven't seen any poo anywhere...

I always thought this product was a scam or "bunk." I mean, how could it possibly be any different than any other sponge or cleaning product? Seriously?

Well, that was all before I actually used it. This thing is a MIRACLE worker! It got stains of of the walls that I had put furniture in front of because I could not get them out! I also used it when blue paint got on the baseboard heater when we were re-doing the guest room. It made a job that I thought was going to take all afternoon finished in less than half an hour.

I bought it only because I had a coupon and to be honest, it sat in the cupboard for several months until I happened to be on a cleaning spree and decided to try it out. Now it holds a place of honor in the cleaning cupboard, I always pull it out first if there is something to be cleaned. I always feel like I am losing a friend when I have to throw the remnants of one away, but then I look in the box to find a bright clean new one and all is right with the world again.

Human Beings will always want to believe in the supernatural. We are skeptical creatures, but the idea that an impossibility can exist in this world intrigues us. Naturally, when we find and expose one of these rarities for it's heavenly blessings, we are- well, we're a lot of things....

Angry!!! Why has no one told us about the Godly properties Magic Eraser imbues years ago!? Those bastards knew and said nothing!

Excited!!! I've been cleaning the walls for two hours and I've no desire to stop! The pizza's here? I like cold pizza!

Amazed!!! But it's just a little blue and white sponge, how could it...? Ah hell, it's magic!

These are just a few of the countless emotions one may experience while using the Magic Eraser. You will begin to wonder what you CAN'T clean... Toilet? Works like a charm. Spray paint? Haven't tried, but c'mon! It's the magic eraser! Of course it will work! How do you think Robert Downy Jr. got clean! when rehab failed, again!? If your reading this and you're still skeptical, let me know and I'll send you a free Magic eraser. That's not true. I lied, I'm sorry. But they're cheap and you can find them everywhere! And by everywhere I mean grocery stores. So what are you waiting for!? You know that scuffed wall in the living room needs a good once-over, get to it!

So I was looking through a lot of the reviews on here, and everyone keeps saying these things are magic, and if i was just passing through and read that I would never believe these reviews, so I'll add another one, so that maybe one other person will believe it, these are magic. I live in an apartment building that isn't very new and when I moved in I took about four of these and went to the scuff marks on the wall, the refrigerator, the oven, the bathroom, every surface in the apartment, and it just erased everything. They aren't super cheap, but they are fantastic, I can't recommend these enough. They're FANTASTIC.

These things are magical. Just looking at them, you wouldn't imagine they do much. But their deceptively bland appearance hides their magical cleaning powers. I've used these to scrub the most difficult places, such as the bath tub, the stove, that area around the sink that always ends up a mess... I even had one clean up stains from black hair dye on my bathroom counter. Nothing else I had tried would remove those blue shadows. I don't tend to use these for every day cleaning, just the tough stuff, once a month or so. I think it's well worth it.

Every stash of cleaning supplies needs a pack of these!

First of all, I don't know if this was mentioned but in order for these things to be effective, they need to be damp.

They'll get almost any mark off of walls (still working on red hair dye though!). They'll clean any piece of tile, porcelain, or chrome/steel. If cleaning metal, you'll need to wipe away the white chalkiness the Eraser leaves behind but once you do that, you'll have super-sparkly fixtures.

My only complaint about these is the fact they get all crumbly when they wear down but...otherwise they're so great, they still get five stars.

I like the Magic Eraser a lot. We have a white porcelain kitchen sink that hasn't been clean since the day we moved in and started messing it up. It became brown with old coffee and who knows what else.
I tried several methods first: I tried softscrub, I tried soaking the sink in bleach for hours; and Ajax. None worked. I then tried the next best method I know of for my heavy-duty-cleaning: getting my hubby to do it. He couldn't get the stains off.
So then I saw the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and bought one. It actually worked pretty well, getting about 30% of the stains off. Then I coupled it with my other best cleaning method, Husband. He got that sink sparkling clean, the cleanest it's been since we moved in 6 months ago. So Huzzah!

This is another one of those products that makes no sense to me. My mother gave this to me because she saw something in my house that no doubt needed to be cleaned, and I obviously wasn't cleaning it (this is, after all, what I have house elves for). So it sat under my kitchen cabinet for quite awhile until one boring day, with literally nothing else to do, the sponge caught my eye, and in a whimsical moment, I said, oh, what the hell, and pulled it out.

I used it. I tried it. Now, I come from a family of heavy-set Eastern Europeans whose mantra was "use a little more elbow grease; a little hard work never hurt anyone!" usually uttered with a cigarette between clenched teeth and a rolling pin nearby to hit you with if you disagreed.

So, I applied more elbow grease. It didn't make a damned bit of difference, and not only did I develop a resentment toward this stupid product, which is just a piece of hard foam infused with some kind of chemical, as far as I can tell, I further despised my mother for giving it to me, and my house for getting dirty in the first place.

I went back to paper towels and a spray bottle of blue stuff. If I have to write a review for the blue stuff, I'll give the stuff a name. Until then, all I can say is, don't take my word for it--go and buy this spongey thing. See what happens.

I too am a great fan of the Magic eraser. When they first came out, I thought, no way. My sister in-law then told me about how her daughter drew pictures with a permenant marker all over her computer. She continued with, "no big deal, the magic eraser got it off".
I finally had enough sense to try it for myself. I must say, I don't know how I ever got along with out one. I use them on my walls, my stair rails, around the kitchen, about everywhere!
The only downfall I can find with this product is it really is rough on your hands, it dries mine right out, with every use. The other would be, once it gets a bit of wear, it falls apart. (I make sure to stay stocked up, so that doesn't happen).

I am always on the lookout for a great cleaning product. Since Mr. Clean has a solid reputation for getting the job done, I decided to give the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser a test drive. Gladly, I got some surprising results. Instead of spending hours wiping multiple surfaces continuously, I only had to do a quick wipe and it removed the stains. Using this product for superb cleaning around the house can be easily done because it gets rid of virtually everything. Bathroom surfaces, kitchen counters, and household walls will start shining in no time. Revive the look of your home with a quick and easy spring cleaning. Mr Clean Magic Eraser will definitely help you to do this with every single use. It is strong enough to cut grease and stubborn stains. This is a great product that is worth a try.

Mr. Clean has a great reputation, but when my sister-in-law told me about a product that you got wet then used like an eraser I was a bit doubtful. She explained to me how she used it to clean the walls, the bathroom counters, and then the grill.

So I thought I would try it and bought one for myself. Well, I am now a believer! The Mr Clean Magic Eraser is just as it says. It cleans and erases everything! I have cleaned just about everything I can think of in the house with it and feel lost when I don’t have a spare in the house.

The best thing about these is that you actually can cut off the part of the eraser that has been used and keep the unused part.

Like the previous reviewers, I didn’t believe these would work so well, but I was pleasantly surprised when I finally tried them.

When we moved into our house we had to do a lot of cleaning and these were a huge help! They took off all the scuff marks on the walls. And the stove had a lot of grease and dried splatters that I couldn’t take off with any other cleaners or soap, but these magic erasers did the trick.

If you’re having a hard time cleaning something in your house, you have to try these—you’ll be hooked! Just be sure to keep them away from the kids.

The Good:

This seemed like just another gimmick to sell just another useless cleaning product. But Mr. Clean did a smart thing by sending a sample one of these in the mail. I used the sample and was hooked. It makes removing stains easy, including some stains that I thought would never be gone from the tub and sink.

The Bad:

The Internet is full of stories of children receiving rashes/burns from using this. Duh, people, would you give your 6 year old a bottle of kitchen cleanser? Keep out of reach of children.

Bottom Line:

Mr. Clean makes good cleaning gear, but these aren't for little hands.

When Magic Erasers first came out, I was dubious as to how well they could possibly work, but my mother insisted that I needed to try them, and I was amazed! Now, I don't know how I ever got along without Magic Erasers! I'm sure my walls and floors were not as pristine as they are now!

My husband gets filthy at work, and the Magic Eraser is the only product I have been able to find that actually cleans that tough ring around the tub. It's also great for cleaning my two-year-old daughter's "artwork" on my walls, floor, doors, and refrigerator.
