As far as sequels go, this is a good one. The Griswold family win a trip to Europe on a game show called Pig In the Poke. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo are back as Clark and Ellen, but the kids are played by a different actor and actress, to keep them younger I imagine. The antics in Europe are similar to the antics as they traveled across the country to Wally World in the original. Nothing ever seems to go right.
The kids can't believe their only TV viewing choice in London is BBC, and Clarke destroys Stonehenge, accidentally knocking it down like dominoes. He'd talked Ellen into making a sexy, racy video of her singing as she walked out of the shower before they left, and he leaves it on the video camera that he's taping their vacation on. You can imagine what could happen with that.
Like all the Vacation movies, it's just a lot of fun. I'd have to say it's my third favorite after the original, and after Christmas Vacation. The only thing this one is missing is Cousin Eddy.
