When I first got my car this was the very first accessory I bought for it. The main reason being that since it's a white car dirt tends to show up much faster on it. It's pretty easy to use, just pop in the filter, fill up the reservoir with the soap, connect it to a hose and you're all set.
The filter does a pretty good job of keeping particles out of the water so that as your car dries you don't see any spots. The soap works ok but I found myself giving my car a pass with one of those car wash mitt things to get rid of all the dirt. The final spray with the ionizing filter gets the water to come off in sheets. Supposedly that makes drying nothing more than sitting back and watching.
I use a chamois cloth to make things go a little quicker.
Then I rub on a coat of wax and I'm off to collect some more dead bugs on my windshield.
