I started this movie optimistically. However, shortly after i started it I began getting bored. This movie was very long and drawn out. It also started to get very confusing. One day the main characters husband was alive, the next day he was dead. It continued this way for quite sometime. Even with the wife drawing out a time line for us it's still really difficult to understand. Without ruining the movie it was a very slow moving mistake.

I thought this movie was all right. It wasn't the best in suspenseful thrillers, but it wasn't the worst either.
Linda (played by Sandra Bullock), is living in the strangest life, full of dreams about her husband Jim's (Julian McMahon), awful car crash. After the crash occurs and Linda is crushed, she begins to sleep and wake in two seemingly different worlds. One with Jim alive and one with him dead. Her family and she at times, think she is going crazy because of his death, and imagining this separate life. She is not able to get anyone, including a psychiatrist nor a priest to believe or help her. She is desperate to find the answer, and begins to work out a time line on paper, and follow her tracks to uncover the truth.
Like I said, it's an okay movie, definitely a rental. For adults you can get this movie on Amazon for $11.49.

I love a psychological thriller that has me figuring out the mystery right along with the character in the movie. Premonition provided that for me as I began to wonder if Sandra Bullock was going crazy just as she did. Every day brings her something different as she hears the news that her husband has died in a tragic accident. She'll wake up one day to find he's still dead, yet wake up the next to find him still living.

I had to feel for her as she was not only trying to figure out what was going on, as every time she expected him to still be dead, he'd pop up alongside her in the shower, but also defending herself and her treatment of her children. One of her daughters gets a gash on her head, and Bullock isn't able to tell anyone how it happened. With everyone wondering why she's losing it thinking her husband is still alive when they know full well he died, they begin to think she is harming her own child. She flies into a rage at the thought she could be harming her own daughter.

Right up until the end, Premonition keeps you guessing. While I normally prefer Bullock in romantic comedies, I really liked her in this psychological thriller as well.
