This movie is terribly cheesy and not always well-acted, but it seems to be somewhat of a classic of its time, with everyone knowing of it. Christopher Atkins and Brooke Shields get stranded on a deserted island as young kids, and never being rescued, grow up together and start their own family.
It's interesting to show how they learn about sex and other things, as they never had anyone to teach them about such things, although some of it seems quite hokey. I can imagine if I watched it now for the first time, I wouldn't have the same feelings, as I was a teenager myself when it first came out, but watching it then, it was quite the fantasy, dreaming of being stranded with Christopher Atkins. Having seen him lately on Confessions of a Teen Idol, I have to say I still wouldn't mind being stranded with him.
