Not only is this my favorite cd of Eminems its his best if you ask me. Al;though he can address subjects like the President and race he still does it in a main stream way that attracts all kinds. He walks the fine line between hip hop and Rap. I have always been a fan of hip hop. I felt the messages were deeper then talking about blunts, and bitches and money. Eminem is able to take real life ideals and apply them to main stream rap. This is a really good cd it has great beats and deep lyrics what more could an avid music lover want, its pure genious.

Eminem is one of my all time favorite musicians! Yes he can be VERY foul mouthed, but his music is awesome and his songs are inspired based on his life and life journeys! To me, he is one of the realest rappers out there! I will always support Eminem and look forward to him producing another CD soon!
My brother became a huge Eminem fan back then after this album was released. I wouldn't blame him though; I also had a lot of friends who appreciated this album too. As for me, I would say that this album had a lot of songs that were entertaining, written very well, and had great beats/tunes. Eminem has a unique style of rapping that can draw you in, and listen carefully to every word that he says. Everyone knows that some of his songs are his expressions based on his life and all that, and that alone makes him someone genuinely human who a number of people can relate with. However, this album (as well as the later ones) are full of foul language, making it not suitable for kids.
ahhhhhh man..
The Eminem Show.. is one of the dopest albums available.
I dont know.. I perosnally have very strong feelings about Hip Hop, what it means and what it should be.
Yes, I do think Em's race works to his benefit, but regardless his complex lyrics, sense of humor, intelligent word play, wierd and twisted ideas, and overall subject matters sits Em as one of my FAVORITE MCs of all time.
And unlike some other Hiphop artsits, with maturity and pushing his pen futher Em continues to bring the fire each and every time, and is just getting BETTER with age.
The album is also marketed extremley well. For younger fans there is the ever controversial " slim shady" material. For older fans their are some politcal commentaries and deepr ideas. A couple of heavy radio play songs for the pop fans, and some SERIOUS complex lyriscy... ( the show case of lyrics) for the hard core Hiphop fan. And if im not mistaken a little gun play for the Gang Banger at heart.
Eitherway, masterfully composed, well packaged, and perfectly delivered.
The Eminem Show is another Jewl.

Has to be one of Eminem's best albums. It felt like he tried to get out of his shell more than any other album before this.
It is a long way from his album "Infinite". I can tell you that.
This album is actually the last of his albums I bought. The later albums and collaborations with D12 felt... not as impressive. Don't get me wrong. He still has the same lyrical ability in these albums but didn't show the amount of versatility he has shown in "Eminem Show".
Hailie's song for example. A lighter side to a sometimes very dark and angst-ridden rapper. The album showed that he could make songs that didn't just talk about him killing his wife.
5 out of 5. An album full of great songs and great lyrics. Not just limited to exhibiting lyrical ability but to compel others with various emotions in each song.

Eminem, what can I say?
He talks about the same topics,
in a different way.
He could be in the tropics,
But instead he stays
True to his roots
Spits flame and soot
Whenever he gets in that booth
He just let's loose
The mic's on fire and so is the roof.
The things he says is the basic truth.
Many don't like him
But even more do.
Don't hate on Slim yall.
Can't understand a mile in his shoes.
Eminem is a lyrical genius and raps accordingly. He's one of my favorite rappers simply cause of his lyrical content as well as the technique he procures when he speaks. I give him mad props because many people were biased against his songs simply because he was white. His words overcame the racism though and he gained many a people's respect. Favorite songs off the album are as follows: When the Music Stops feat. D12, Say What You Say feat. Dr. Dre, 'Till I Collapse feat. Nate Dogg, Sing for the Moment, and Hailie's Song.
