To be honest when I first got ready to try this on I did not think I was going to like it. Being one of those girls with a bigger bust line, and a bit of pot belly, I figured that I would end up looking like a tube of goo! In the end I didn't. For a dress with a little bit of support built into it the shape holds nicely. I can't wait for this summer, because I can bring it to the beach over my swim suit for easy on and off, and keep myself from getting a full body sunburn when I am out of the water.

Best bargain to buy now for summer. This dress is a knock off of the high end boutique maxi dress that boho hippies like Nicole Richie made fashionable. I bought this dress in black and expect to be asked if I got it at Barney's or some other exclusive Fred Segal like store. I've coveted this type of dress at M. Frederic boutique and was turned off at the over $150 price tag. My advice is always to buy black, white or neutrals if you want your purchase to look pricier than it was. Pair these with leather thongs from Bernardo (see my review in my Looks list) and you'll have a gorgeous outfit to wear out to dinner or just around. At $30 it's a steal.

Thought you missed th maxi dress bandwagon huh? I bought this dress in purple and love it to death. The neckline is a little deeper then I like (worked for Hawaii but not here), so I often pair it with a wife beater, racer back tank top or a hoodie on top. Maxi dresses have proven to be very versatile, dressed up or down and are definitely worth having atleast one in your wardrobe.

PROS:
-Super comfortable and cool during the summer
-Layer for winters or colder seasons.
-They keep coming back in style.

CONS:
-If you're on the thicker side its better to avoid a maxi dress and go fr the shorter ones since a heavy bust can leave you looking like a tent.

BOTTOM LINE:
If it works well with your shape, why not? few places are still carrying them in solid colors so think about it.
